The tagline for our new Omega Rod Holder Series is “The Last Rod Holder You’ll Ever Need” and that’s exactly what we’ve developed. It’s a truly universal solution that works perfectly with casting rods, larger conventional reels and yes, even fly rods of all sizes. A 360-degree rotating collar quickly secures the rod by grabbing the reel, and allows reels to be stored in a natural downward position without hanging them to the side. Multiple modes allow anglers to easily position rods for quick access or lock them for maximum security.
The Omega Pro adds an extension arm that allows the reel to be placed higher on the water or to accommodate longer fishing rods.
The Omega Pro attaches to your kayak, boat or other watercraft with YakAttack’s all-new LockNLoad mounting system, and is exactly what you’d expect from the leader in track mounting technology. Offering unmatched security and adjustability, the patent-pending LockNLoad mounting base is the most advanced track mount ever created. Don’t want slippage? No problem. The LockNLoad base attaches quickly and easily with a single MightyBolt, but won’t accidentally rotate or come off the track, even if your trolling rod takes a big hit.
Compatible with YakAttack MightyMount's, GearTrac, and most other kayak rail systems from Scotty Fishing Products, RAM Mounts, and YakGear. For FeelFree Kayaks, 3 Water Kayaks, and Jonny Boats, you will need an adapter to be compatible. We offer the necessary adapter in a single pack (AAP-1012) and a six-pack (AAP-1012-6).
There are 3 modes: lock, adjust and remove. The patent-pending design is easy to use:
- In locked mode, simply press a lever to enter adjustment mode.
- In adjustment mode, the holder can be rotated in any direction, but cannot be removed, ensuring that the fishing rod holder is completely secure during adjustments, even if a fish touches it. Release the lever and you will return to lock mode.
- To switch to disassembly mode, simply tilt the lever outwards, and the system easily detaches from the support.
This piece of mechanical engineering is sure to make the LockNLoad the kayak angler's preferred mounting system for 2018.
