Founded in 1999, Kayak Junky was originally a modest whitewater kayaking school.  Its founder: Jean-François Haman wanted to pass on his passion for this sport while making pleasant encounters and building links with people attracted by the tumult of these waterways. In 2004, the kayak school became the Kayak boutique Junky.  It was located in a small space in Mascouche, on the second floor of a restaurant. Space needs have rapidly changed and with growing popularity, the store is now located in the heart of old Mascouche, on the edge of the beautiful little Mascouche river.  There is also a large parking lot along the river opposite the St-Henri Church in Mascouche.
