The CR stands for Crevasse Rescue, while the X means the weight has been kept to a minimum. It’s stronger than many larger pulleys, and it fits easily into your pocket or backpack so you can grab it quickly if needed. With side plates that make it easy to attach a Prusik cord, this little pulley is your best friend on glaciers. As small and light as possible, it’s not designed for use in search and rescue efforts or on zip lines. Use it for emergency crevasse rescue systems.

- Rounded plates rotate easily to ensure secure rope positioning anywhere on the pulley
- Working load suitable for single person rescues at a time
