You already choose your own adventures. Now choose your own buoyancy in the Khimera™. Offering the security of foam in a slim profile, the option to increase your buoyancy with the pull of a cord keeps your movements (and flotation) as fluid and dynamic as your water activities. Originally designed for paddlers with a growing fan base in the sailing world, the Khimera’s body-hugging design helps you stay stylish while staying protected. Paddling without the bulk of a traditional foam vest—but with all the safety—is a revolutionary act. 20.5 lbs of buoyancy (7.5 lbs of foam keeps most bodies neutrally buoyant, 13 lbs of additional buoyancy available when the cells are inflated). Wide arm slots and a minimal silhouette keep your mobility high so your center of gravity stays low—for easy re-entry into your boat. The soft, durable material stands up to your adventures, without rubbing or chafing. The simple deflation system makes it easy to transition between floats; no repacking required - just remove air from the inflation cell and re-arm the CO2 cylinder, and you're done. Adjustable shoulder straps and waist create a custom fit; tie-down points and a front pocket allow you to bring everything you need for a successful expedition, like an extra CO2 cylinder (sold separately).
