The L?Edge Superlite is a lighter version of our popular L?Edge Lite model. Weighing in at 43 pounds (8 pounds lighter than the Lite version), the Superlite continues to amaze with its easy handling and responsiveness. The weight reduction is achieved by reducing the total amount of plastic used in the hull. So if you are a paddler who primarily paddles shallow rivers with lots of rocks, enjoys cheese-crushing rapids, or primarily paddles riffles where impacts are the norm rather than the exception, the L?Edge Lite canoe would be a better choice. The Superlite is ideal for people who like the performance of the L?Edge but want a lighter, easier to carry, and more responsive hull on the water.
