Being the only kayak brand on the market with dual skid plates, they presented themselves with a unique opportunity to do something different than a skeg or rudder and the FlexWings are the result of months of research and development to further improve the tracking and performance of your Authentic. The FlexWings install under the stock dual skid plates using the stock hardware and if your stock screws are worn out, we have included four new screws to help with installation if needed. With the FlexWings facing inward, they effectively manage the turbulent water that flows off the stern and results in tracking and performance unlike anything we have ever experienced. Made in the USA from flexible yet rigid rubber, the FlexWings can be dragged and paddled over rocks and wood without damaging your kayak. Sold in pairs and made in the USA.
